Policies

Booking and Payments

For clients desiring storage product sourcing and customised organisation solutions, a $150 non-refundable booking and preparation fee is required to secure the session.

This fee covers:

  • Product research and online sourcing

  • Storage planning and layout preparation

  • Time spent designing tailored organisational solutions

  • Preparation of products prior to installation, including cleaning, surface protection, and labelling materials

  • Pre-session consultation (email or phone) and preparation time

The fee is deducted from the final service balance.

Remaining service balances are due 24 hours prior to the scheduled

session unless otherwise agreed.

Additional time outside quoted sessions may incur additional charges

at $100 per hour.

Cancellations

 

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of a scheduled session will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service fee.

 

Where storage products have already been purchased, these items become the property of the client and may:

 

  • Be used during a future rescheduled session, or

 

  • Be collected if the booking is cancelled entirely.

 

Returns and exchanges must be arranged directly with the retailer and are subject to individual retailer policies.

Product Purchasing

 

Storage products are supplied at the client’s expense plus a 20% sourcing fee.

 

This fee covers:

 

  • In store shopping and collection

  • Travel time and fuel costs

  • Product handling and preparation

  • Associated shipping expenses

 

All product recommendations are thoughtfully selected to suit the client’s space, functionality needs, aesthetic, and budget.

 

Approved product invoices must be paid no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled session to allow time for purchasing and preparation.

 

Please note:

 

  • Product availability may vary depending on supplier stock levels

  • Returns or exchanges must be arranged directly with the retailer

  • Final approval of all product selections remains with the client

Client Responsibilities

 

To ensure sessions run smoothly and efficiently, clients are responsible for:

 

  • Providing safe and reasonable access to the property and work area

  • Advising of any hazards, damage, pests, mould, or fragile items prior to the session

  • Making final decisions regarding decluttering, donations, and disposal

  • Supervising children and pets where required

  • Reviewing and approving proposed layouts, products, or systems where applicable

  • Allowing adequate workspace and clear surfaces where possible

 

Note: The Nurtured Home will never dispose of sentimental or personal items without client approval.

Privacy Statement

 

The Nurtured Home respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

 

Information collected through enquiries, consultations, bookings, invoices, questionnaires, and communications is used for:

 

  • Providing services

  • Client communication

  • Business administration purposes.

 

Personal information will never be sold or shared to third parties unless required by law or necessary to complete agreed services (such as product ordering or delivery arrangements).

Liability

 

While every reasonable care is taken when handling client belongings, The Nurtured Home is not liable for:

 

  • Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or manufacturer faults

  • Damage resulting from unstable or overloaded furniture, shelving, fixtures, or storage systems

  • Loss or damage to items that have been packed, moved, or stored prior to the session

  • Accidental damage caused by undisclosed fragility or unsafe conditions within the home

 

Clients acknowledge that organising and decluttering services involve handling household items, and minor accidental damage may occur despite reasonable care.

 

Clients are responsible for ensuring furniture, shelving, fixtures, and wall installations are secure and suitable for intented use.

Social Media & Photography

 

The Nurtured home may take before and after photographs or videos of completed spaces for portfolio, marketing, and social media purposes.

 

Client privacy and comfort are always respected. Personal information, sensitive items, addresses, family photographs, or identifying details will never be intentionally shared.

 

Content shared may include organised spaces, styling details, storage solutions, and general project transformations.
